Time for School!

Jonah started pre-school last week. I was so nervous for him! He's kind of shy when he meets new people so I thought that he was going to make me come in with him... but he grabbed Miss Cameon's hand and went right in. I cried and cried the whole time he was gone, and was sure that when I went to pick him up he would come running out to the car in tears because he missed me. When I went to pick him up, he just hopped right in the car and started telling me how much fun he had and how he couldn't wait to go back! I was so glad. From the second we dropped him off, to the second we picked him up, Josie kept saying "Ju Ju" (that's what she calls him) and looking all over for her buddy. It was so cute to see how excited she was to pick him up. We love his pre-school, and his teacher is so much fun. He's already learned a ton of stuff. I miss him when he goes, but it's so fun to watch how excited he is to learn new things!

The Quest...

Mark's boss gave us AMAZING tickets to the last BYU home game against UCLA. We were so excited! We have the same exact tickets that he has (right on the 50 yard line) except his are at the bottom of the stadium, and ours are 2 rows from the very top! It was such a fun game to go to because BYU did so good! We had a great time... and definitely need to look into getting some of those seats with the hard backs instead of our bleacher seats. After experiencing that luxury, I'm starting to get greedy!

No bottles- DAY 1

Mark had a brilliant idea that it was time for Josie to stop having a bottle. She hardly ever eats food because she always wants a baba. We thought it might be about time to get her off of it, and the only way to go is cold turkey. She went to bed great last night, and slept for 12 hours straight. Today... I laid her down to take a nap without it and after some good long screaming, she finally fell asleep. She only slept for an hour though. It's gonna be a long few days!

Seriously?

I love my little Josie... I really do. But, she's a handful. So, today is the 5th day in a row that she has pooped in the bathtub. Apparently the warm water makes her want to do that or something... I don't know. She's so dang cute though, so I can't get mad. I bathe both of the kids together, and Jonah jumps out so fast when she does that- today he said "Mom, I'm really getting sick of this." I agree. Another current obsession she's got is throwing food from her chair. I used to think this was bad, until the other day when she took her whole bowl of Trix cereal and put it on her head. Seriously? The best picture is when she's got her finger up her nose too. Like I said, I love my little Josie.... I really do.

Jonah's funnest day ever...

My sister took Jonah to the Rocky Mountain Raceway last week. Jonah was so excited to go, and especially excited to hang out with his cousin Zach. He had such a good time and still keeps talking about how cool it was. I'm so lucky to have such a good sister- it was way nice of her to take Jonah for the night and to do something so fun with him. Love ya Gina.

Random Summer Pictures-

When my 1 year old is screaming at the top of her lungs, and I still have a few errands to run, I'll give her just about anything to make her stop crying!

Mark took the kids to the park and Josie discovered that she can go down the slide face-first!

Lake Powell Baby!

We had such a good weekend in Lake Powell. Mark's company takes a few employees and their spouses there each summer to stay on a house boat. It's so nice,
they even cook all our meals for us!

It was such a fun vacation!
